System Analyst

• Analyze science, engineering, business, and data processing for application and electronic data processing systems
• Evaluate user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
• May analyze or recommend commercial software

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in information technology
• Five or more years of relevant IT work, and experience managing with some or full autonomy
• Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
• Comprehension of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Effective written and oral communication
• Ability to communicate data interpretations and analysis
• Technical and quantitative aptitude
• Critical thinking
• Problem recognition and solving
