We are always looking for talented Research professionals to join our team! Walter R. McDonald & Associates, Inc. (WRMA) is a leading provider of consulting services to human services agencies and organizations. With offices in Sacramento, California, and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, WRMA, Inc. applies advanced technology and consulting to better the lives of children and families, advance public policy, and improve the management of social services agencies. We work on projects all over the country and prefer candidates that are willing to relocate. Responsibilities: - Participating in the management of one large project or multiple smaller research projects
- Designing and implementing research, evaluation, and strategic planning project
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis
- Presenting and publishing of research findings
- Developing and providing evaluation training and technical assistance
- Maintaining and manipulating large datasets
- Preparing technical research reports and other products
Qualifications - Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Development, or Statistics proffered, or equivalent experience
- Three to give years of professional level experience designing, planning and conducting research and program evaluation, including experience with formative and summative evaluations
- Proven track record of directing project teams and managing proposals for large projects
- Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software packages
- Comprehension of research and evaluation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to conduct internet based research
- Effective communication skills, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of audiences
- Excellent organization skills
- Willingness to engage in a wide range of tasks
